We are the administration that has made the biggest investment in housing. We work in conjunction with social entities, residents associations and professionals from the sector in different areas of housing, including the promotion of new public rental flats, the mobilization of empty housing, and the support of housing cooperatives.  

We have created mediation and assistance mechanisms for people facing eviction, such as the Barcelona Anti-eviction Unit, to provide support for our city residents. 

We believe that pursuing advanced housing policies is not just a historic debt, but it also means creating dignified dwellings and generating industry, and helps us to fight climate change.
